A Free New York City Concert

And even though on this day finds itself as Occupy Wall Street Day 194, and Occupy Wall Street and those global revolutions of a movement Occupy Together are still moving fast, I still find myself blogging about music, music and more music. And if it’s free with rsvp, then it’s for me, maybe. And even if it’s at a discount, then it’s for me, maybe. And so there is a free New York City concert at Brooklyn Bowl, to be found in that borough of Brooklyn to be found in that city of New York April 12th. And I know that there is a free New York City concert with this brass band versus this other brass band because this Facebook event invite and those photos that find themselves posted above says so. And that my free concert website reads something like “Here’s your chance to see a NYC based hip hop brass band and another band playing Afro Funk Banghra at one of our favorite venues, Brooklyn Bowl, for absolutely nothing….. In addition, ?uestlove will be following up this show with a DJ set, which won’t cost you anything extra if you’re already there.” And that Facebook event invite reads something like:

Join PitchBlak Brass Band and Underground Horns as they share the stage for the first ever BRASS CLASH at the beautiful Brooklyn Bowl! We are BEYOND PUMPED to be playing at one of our favorite venues in all of New York City – this will be a night to remember, and one not to miss!

Come out for a night of hard hitting music, deep grooves and thick rhymes as PitchBlak and Underground Horns keep you dancing all night long! After the BRASS CLASH, The Roots very own DJ ?UESTLOVE will be spinning tunes as part of the weekly Bowl Train ’til the morning hours!

See y’all there – CH’YEAH!

Get tickets here!

Have a great New York City music concert and more day.
