And with each holiday that rolls around, I seem to find myself recycling those holiday blog posts that were posted on my other blog some time a while ago. And for what reason do those modern day sheriff, old west, police badges, look like the Jude, Jews, Jewish yellow star of David turning in Jesus of Nazareth to be crucified and persecuted centuries later?  For 30 pieces of silver. And Memorial Day is almost near in a couple of days or so according to that Gregorian calendar and all of those street festivals that are to be found everywhere in the streets today. And I thought to blah blog about this patriotic flag waving holiday. And this also leads me to realize that I have been blahging on this blog for over a year now and that these holidays seem to be a recurring event and same day, different year when that same ole Gregorian calendar date roles around. And then I thought, hey, I can just post the same blog entry from a year ago that I posted on this blog a year ago because it almost seems like it’s the same day, different year. And besides, it’s less writing sometimes. So the following is a passage that I posted on this blog a year ago:

And today is Memorial Day in America. A celebration of the war day. Another one of those patriotic holidays. The flag wavers are out and yellow ribbons, badges of honor, medals, parades, marches, prayers, patriotic songs, tributes and ceremonies are being broadcast everywhere. The headlines read “Honor the dead soldiers, honor the fallen soldiers and comrades”. Today is the ultimate patriotic fanatic holiday. My question of the day; for what reason is it an honor to volunteer to be fodder for the canon. For what reason is it an honor to die for nothing, to fight for reasons that do not exist, to fight against the flesh for powers that be that one cannot even see. For what reason is it an honor to be so poor that one will volunteer their life in exchange for money after one leaves the service, if one leaves the service. For what reason is it an honor for persons to be brainwashed with propaganda, theirs or mine. For what reason is it an honor to become a violent person and pick up a gun and kill another person for no reason at all. For what reason is it an honor to be a veteran who now make up the majority of the homeless population. For what reason is it an honor to attend one of those military sponsored funerals and cry over the image of a flag that propagates violence, the same flag that caused ones death. For what reason is it an honor to fall and die for nothing. For what reason is it an honor to promote this ideology. What is heroic about all of this? And why does the word “Patriot” have the word “Riot” in it? And why does the word “Military” militant militia have the word “Mal” in it? “Parens Patriarch, Father of our country”, that phrase seems to be the basis of endless deaths of the world. I saw Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11 documentary. It is nineteen eighty four and Orwellianism is everywhere at its best today. Is it written somewhere that this must all come to pass? Happy beach bar b queing Memorial day. Peace on earth. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?

Freedom can be a good thing when it comes to not having to be worried or burdened about the troubles, travails, trials and cares of this world. And even though on this day finds itself as Occupy Wall Street Day 242 and Occupy Wall Street and those global revolutions of a movements Occupy Together are still moving fast, I still find myself blaghing about art, art, art, music, music, music, and events, events and more events, particularly in that borough of Brooklyn to be found in that city of New York to be found in that country of North America. And so Bushwick Open Studios is happening again this year June 1st-3rd. And I know that Arts in Bushwick, 6th annual Bushwick Open Studios 2012 is happening again this year because their website and this Figure Fragments – BOS 2012 Facebook event invite at The Coin Locker, 234 Starr Street, says so. And from what I read somewhere in internetland, the L train should be running to get you there going your way this year. And that Bushwick Open Studios seems to have a seemingly bazillion and more exhibitions, performances, bands, shows, events and more going on as part of this years event with over 454 shows according to their website, like the BOS Music Festival at XPO 929, an Arts in Bushwick Benefit at Grace Exhibition Space and a WOW *Official* Performance Art Showcase for BOS at House of Yes and a whole lot more and beyond shows going on this day. And it seems as if money makes the world go round. What people do for money. And any other phrases and philosophies I can think of when it comes to money. And that economy sure seems to be in the news a lot lately. And so do those banks. And so after a sold out show in February, that band Underground Horns who play under ground in the New York City subways and above ground throughout that city of New York, are returning for another show at 92YTribeca to be found in that neighborhood of Tribeca to be found in that city of New York and lower Manhattan again on May 26th. And I know this band is returning to 92YTribeca with Zongo Junction and PitchBlak Brass Band May 26th, because they (or someone else…) said so. And their Facebook event invite reads partially something like ” We are all excited about this evening of horn-heavy afrobeat, funk jazz and soul from three incredible bands… Last time we played there we sold the place out! Okay so this is yet another one of those recycle this blog posts that was posted on this blog some time a while ago in an attempt to maintain content for this blog and my other blog whenever web 2.0 social media user generated content blaghers block possible. 

A friend was telling me abut the situation in that is it a city, continent or country of Cuba? And that friend was saying something about how one does not have the freedom to travel freely outside of Cuba. Once born into Cuba and not having the freedom to travel nowhere else outside of Cuba. How is that possible. And this friend went on to say something about the United States, the states that are united I guess, have placed some sort of embargo, or is that a restriction against Cuba for some reason or another from years and decades ago to where only people with money can leave the country or something like that. And then there are banana boats, crossing the border, coyote slave houses, illegal immigrants and all of the perils of risking ones life to travel freely. And this all reminds me of that photo above, the upc bar code and 666, save no man that he may buy or sell except he have the mark of the beast. No one is free when others are oppressed. And the following are some of those blah blog posts that I have blaghed about regarding this subject in times past.:

And on this day is Sunday, that sabbath day of rest, or is that Saturday. And yet I find myself blah blogging away for some reason on this blog. And for some reason that verse from the bible comes to mind, “Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head”. And that other verse, “A brother is born for adversity”. And a friend mentions to me that war is a business. Is war a business? And is it George Orwell’s statement from that nineteen eighty four movie, the war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous. And another friends mentions that another friend has been denied entry to that country of the United States, or deported from a country for various reasons. And what does that word immigration mean, to migrate, to travel? Does that internet bible dictionary Wikipedia have an entry for that. And I have heard horror stories of whole families being separated, destroyed and torn apart from this idea of Immigration And Naturalization Services, INS company that seems to be some form of modern day slavery to me. And what about those visas, green cards, forms, applications, petitions, employment, interviews, Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, residence alien from outer space, illegal aliens, refugee, asylee, settlement, immigrant, nonimmigrant, genealogy, nationality, naturalization things. What does this all mean. Are we all not foreigners and strangers in this land. The whole idea that one can prevent another from travelling freely from one place to another on this planet of earth I can not comprehend. And has humanity become slave to computers, that modern invention of technology, to where one is no longer a human, but becomes a robot to technology, a machine, some sort of beast like thing. No one is free when others are oppressed. And so I thought to post a blog entry that I posted a while ago on this blog.:

The Passport

For what reason is the number of that passport immigration law that prohibits freedom of travel amongst humanity anywhere on planet earth, and that Section 666 Social Security Act, cashless society, national I.D., the number of your name to receive any state services and everything else in between thing, 666? Is this that save no man that he may buy or sell except that he have the mark of the beast thing in the book of Revelations. Is this written in prophecy somewhere. Did George Orwell or Nostradamus predict this? Is that a coincidence or on purpose that this law has the same number of that beast thing. And who or what is the beast, and what is that mark on ones right hand or forehead. What does that mark represent or mean, if anything. And what’s up with that UPC bar code photo that I placed in this blog entry. And for what reason do all universal product codes contain this number. What the heck does that mean? Is that the number of the beast, the number of man? And what’s that New World Order, Verichip and RFID tag thing all about. Big Brother, Brave New World and technology are here and that’s a whole another blog posting. And I have heard so many green card immigration nightmare stories about green card marriages, lotteries and green card everything else in between. Of people leaving a country and not being able to return for whatever reason. And the stories of loss of life while crossing a border, whether by land or sea. And for what reason are there boarders, divisions, restrictions, barriers and territories of land in this world. And for what reason are people not free to travel anywhere in the world without the permission of someone else. Who invented this concept. Is it possible to undo this passport, visa, citizenship, where are your papers to come here law so that everyone can be free to travel anywhere in this world. For what reason does this concept exist. And who is a foreigner. Aren’t we all strangers in this land. Is another world possible. No one is free when others are oppressed. It is Sunday today, day of God, a day of rest. Or is that Saturday, the Sabbath, Sabado. And what does this have to do with a No Police State?

Hey again bloggers or whoever could be reading this blog. And from what I blogger know, that music and camping festival of Some Kind Of Jam 7 has come to pass this year. And I know that festival for this month of April, well actually it’s May according to that Gregorian calendar on the wall, has come to pass because those photos and videos that find themselves posted above says so. And that festival music and camping festival rocked. Have a great festival day and more. Oh, and by the way, today is Occupy Wall Street May Day Worldwide day, or something like that. And Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together are still moving fast, really fast on this day. And there seems to be a bazillion Occupy May Day events and more on this day to be found worldwide. 2012.
