For my birthday this year I decided to treat myself. I’ve always wanted a television in the kitchen so I could cook with my favorite television shows. Not only did I purchase and install a small flatscreen television beneath my cabinets but I also had it connected to our Dish TV. Now I can cook along with Paula or fix something quick with a mix and Sandra Lee. And when there isn’t a cooking show on while I am cooking or if I want to watch something different while I clean up after dinner I can watch that too. Finally, I have my own television to control. Because it’s small and in the kitchen no one else in the house wants to watch it so I can have the final say in what’s on. I’m even finding myself lingering in the evenings while I was dishes these days or inventing things I need to do in there so I can watch what I want! Maybe I will finally get my refrigerator cleaned out now that I have something to entertain me while I do it!
