Okay, this event has already happened according to that Gregorian calendar on the wall.  It's just that this blog wants to confuse me sometimes with its truespeak like Orwellianess with it's times dates and histories in my attempt to maintain more than one blog. And since I have been finding myself blaghing about jazz, music, art and events in that city of New York a lot, every so often lately, I might as well blah blog about this one to be found in that All About Jazz newspaper that I came across in one of those all about jazz clubs and bars to be found in that city of New York. And so that Vision Festival XV, that all about jazz festival, is happening again this year in the city of New York. And I know because that copy of that All About Jazz newspaper says so. And its happening at A Gathering of the Tribes Gallery with a free outdoor concert, at The Local 269, at DROM, at Abrons Art Center and other venues throughout the neighborhood of the Lower East Side and East Village. And so those list of performers for this years event will include: Muhal Richard Abrams, Roy Campbell, Darius Jones, Tim Berne Crackleknob, Frank London, Matthew Shipp, Hamid Drake conduction, Fay Victor, Amiri, Amina Baraka and Rene Mclean, Borah Bergman, David S. Ware Trio, York College Blue Notes, New School DuoDuoDuo, Brooklyn College Jazz Band, Dorn Minasi, Tony Malaby conduction and a host of others. And this event Vision Festival Jazz Rocks.
