The Pledge Of Allegiance
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and
to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible,
with liberty and justice for all". And I remember reciting this passage
daily in kindergarten school with my right hand placed over my chest,
as if a robot to be programmed with all of the other pupils in class.
And is one even aware of that they are reciting at that age. And what
if one did not want to recite this passage in class, would they be
expelled and exiled. Is this some some of mandatory phrase to be
programmed, instituted and brainwashed with from childhood. Whats this
passage all about? The programming of a people and worshiping of an
image of something similar to some scene from George Orwell's nineteen
eighty four and his big brother is watching you group think thing. And
I have heard it said somewhere that the american flag propagates
violence, maybe. And I am not sure what to think of that statement. And
what's a patriot anyway. And for what reason do war veterans make up
the majority of the homeless mentally ill population, or do they? And
for what reason does the word patriot have the word riot in it. To die
for one's country, to die a hero loyalty for and to what? And are
americans and their flag waving brainwashed with all of this
nationalist comradeory terminology propaganda, or is this propaganda
anyway. And it seems to be the cowboys and the indians, parens patriae,
power of the state, state of what, father of our country, loss of
liberties in the name of freedom kind of thing, maybe. And what does
Wikipedia, that internet bible dictionary have to day about this
passage. And so this pledge of allegiance to the american flag and all
that it represents debate, discussion, opinions and commentary with
myself or whoever could be reading this blog seems as if it can go on
an on in my blaghing on this blog. And I am unable to comprehend the
concept of it all. No one is free when others are oppressed. Peace on
earth and goodwill to all mankind. And what, if anything, does this
have to do with a No Police State?
